When you look at our ingredient lists, you will never find synthetic preservatives like parabens or petroleum-based fragrances. We rely on time-tested traditional methods and ingredients grown on our Baijnathpur farm, because your skin's health should never be an experiment. ### Transparency is Non-Negotiable When I started Arthlings, my goal was to provide products that I would feel completely safe using on my own child. This meant looking past the marketing buzzwords and examining the chemistry of standard personal care products. I found that many popular items rely on ingredients that prioritize shelf life over skin health. ### Why We Say No to Parabens and Sulfates Many conventional brands use parabens because they are inexpensive synthetic preservatives that prevent mold and bacteria. However, studies suggest these compounds can mimic estrogen in the body, potentially causing hormonal imbalances. We refuse to include them in our formulations. Similarly, we avoid sulfates like SLS and SLES. While these create that familiar, thick lather, they often strip your skin of its natural, protective oils, leading to long-term dryness and irritation. ### Our Natural Alternatives Instead of synthetic fragrances, which can cause skin sensitivity, we use pure, plant-based essential oils. These do more than just provide a pleasant scent; they offer aromatherapy benefits that help balance and heal. Our sourcing is the foundation of this trust. Everything from our beetroot extracts to the herbs used in our haircare range comes directly from our farm in Baijnathpur. Because we grow our own ingredients, we control the entire process from soil to skin. We do not use chemical fertilizers, and we do not use artificial colors. If you see a red tint in our products, it is the natural pigment of the plant, not a synthetic dye. We provide you with the information you need to make informed choices.
