Here, I used oil pastels and my fingers to blend a soft, glowing background for these two cats sharing a quiet moment under the moon. This piece is all about finding love in small, peaceful moments.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/1ebb67dd-be6e-427c-8670-4b9ad7749dd1) - ![This is my detailed pen sketch of Nandi Maharaj, the sacred bull and devotee of Lord Shiva. I spent a lot of time on the colors and fine lines to capture a sense of peace and devotion. I started with a dark background to make the white and pink flowers pop, showing how they can bloom even in the dark. These are not prints, they are tangible, handcrafted textures you can actually touch. Whether I am blending a dreamy sky with my fingers or shading a portrait, my focus is always on making the work feel alive and personal. Art is a form of meditation for me. Whether I am working on a 25-hour digital vector portrait or a quick charcoal sketch of Ganesha, my process remains the same, lots of patience and constant experimentation. My oil pastel work, specifically the impasto technique, uses 3 to 4 times the pigment of a standard drawing, creating that tactile depth you see in the cherry blossom piece. I have been documenting my progress through a 75-day drawing challenge because I believe the only way to get better is to keep showing up. You will notice a mix of media here, from the bold, warm colors of my Hanuman Ji sketches to the soft, quiet moments of my whimsical night scenes. I do not take shortcuts. Every piece of paper is a thick, 300 GSM sheet to ensure the work lasts, and I seal everything with professional fixatives so the art you receive stays protected. If you have an idea for a custom piece, tell me. I love bringing specific visions to life, whether it is a spiritual deity sketch for your home or a textured landscape to brighten your wall. ## About Somesh Halder Hi, I am Somesh. I believe art is pure feeling, and if I am not feeling it, I do not make it. My workspace is usually messy with pastels and charcoal, but that is where the real magic happens.
