## About Textured & Abstract Art

I don't just paint on canvas; I build surfaces. By mixing sand, paper, and heavy texture pastes, I create pieces that feel like they have lived a thousand lives. Whether it is the rugged grooves of a tree trunk or the weathered charm of an old wall, each piece is designed to be touched and experienced, not just looked at.

My work in this series is deeply rooted in Wabi-Sabi—the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in the incomplete and the aged. When I sit down to create, I’m often thinking about the textures of old ancestral homes, chipped walls, or the strength found in nature’s own imperfections.

### Why Texture Matters in Modern Spaces
In a world of sleek lines, a textured piece acts as a focal point, grounding the room with earthiness. My process involves layering high-viscosity acrylics with materials like sand and paper to build depth. I often incorporate touches of gold or silver leaf to represent the 'golden memories' I hold dear.

### How We Create Your Piece
I work closely with you to ensure the art feels like it belongs in your home:
* **Initial Chat:** We discuss your space, the lighting, and the 'vibe' you want to achieve.
* **Sampling:** For larger pieces, I create A4-sized texture swatches. This helps us finalize the color palette and relief style before I commit to the main canvas.
* **Collaboration:** I’m a big fan of the back-and-forth. If the texture needs more grit or the colors need softening, we adjust.

Each painting is sealed with UV-resistant varnish to handle Mumbai’s climate and comes with a certificate of authenticity. These pieces are meant for people who want something raw, honest, and truly one-of-a-kind on their walls.
