# Custom Paintings & Live Wedding Painting in Delhi

By [Karishma Nain](https://mytribe.in/art_of_karishma) · I paint custom oil, 3D textured and glass artwork from your photos or ideas, and I also paint live at weddings, finishing the couple's portrait at the venue the same evening.

## Locations

Painted in my Delhi studio and shipped across India; I travel to venues in Delhi for live wedding painting

### Travels to

- Travels to wedding venues across Delhi for live painting (Delhi, Delhi, India)
- Ships finished paintings across India (India, India)

## Pricing guide (estimates)

These are indicative prices based on provider's past work. Enquire now to find out final quote.

### Custom Glass Painting (Made to Order)

Reverse painted glass art, made to order on request. Colours shine through from the back and shift when you hold the piece up to the light.

Typically ₹2,200-3,500 per piece (estimate)

#### How I Work This Medium
I paint on the back side of the glass, so the colour shines through the front. Held against the light or the sky, the piece changes. That is the whole beauty of glass work.

#### Made to Order
This one I take as a custom request, so tell me the subject you want and I will work it out with you. I have done these as custom A5 pieces.

Since every glass piece is made to order, the final price depends on the size and the subject. Ask me and I will tell you properly.

#### Subjects That Suit It
High contrast subjects come out best. Radha Krishna and deity subjects are what I do most in glass. I have also joined two separate glass pieces of Radha and Krishna to make one complete image.

#### Timeline
Small sizes like A5 I can finish and send out within 2 to 3 days.

#### Booking & Payment
50% advance to book your slot, 50% after the work is completed.

Cancellation: if I have not started your artwork yet, I return the full amount you have paid. Once I have started work on it, the 50% advance is not returned.

#### Where I Deliver
I ship all over India, and across the border for international orders too.

Shipping within India is included in the price. No extra delivery charge on top for domestic orders.

### Oil Painting on Canvas (A4 to 3x4 Feet)

Realistic oil painting on cotton or linen canvas, from A4 up to 3 by 4 feet. Single or dual figure, deities, portraits or custom subjects.

Typically ₹5-32K per painting (estimate)

#### Sizes I Work In
A4 (10 by 12 inches), A3 (12 by 16 inches), 16 by 20 inches, 20 by 24 inches, 2 by 3 feet, and 3 by 4 feet. The size is what mainly decides the price.

#### Base Materials
I use both cotton canvas and linen canvas. Professional grade Camel Artist series oil colours for rich pigmentation.

#### Scope of Work
Includes single or dual figure composition (for example a couple, or a deity) based on the photos you send. I can merge elements from different reference photos and customise backgrounds.

#### Process & Finish
Includes digital sketch approval before I apply any paint. Finished with a protective varnish layer to prevent dust accumulation and yellowing.

#### Packaging
Multi-layer packaging including butter paper, bubble wrap, and cardboard reinforcement.

#### Timeline
Oil work takes longer than sketches. Depending on the size and the detail, plan for anywhere up to around 14 days.

### 3D Textured Oil Painting

Premium artwork using molding paste and clay to sculpt raised 3D elements before painting.

Typically ₹15-19K per artwork (estimate)

#### Technique & Texture
Mixed-media relief work using molding paste or air-dry clay to sculpt specific details (jewellery, trunks, fabric folds) before painting. Creates a tactile, embossed 3D projection.

#### Canvas Specification
Heavy-duty stretched canvas designed to support the additional weight of the texture medium and bonding agents.

#### Timeline Details
This one needs an extended production window, minimum 10 to 14 days, to allow for sculpting drying, paint curing, and varnishing. I cannot rush this part.

#### Complexity
Ideal for intricate subjects requiring depth, such as heavy bridal jewellery or detailed divinity art.

### Live Wedding Painting (On-Site, Oil on Canvas)

I paint your varmala or pheras moment live at the venue and hand over the finished canvas the same evening. Couple's portrait in oil. Travel charged separately based on the venue.

Typically ₹20-40K per event (estimate)

#### What This Is
I come to your venue and paint live, while the function is happening. Weddings, receptions, whatever occasions you will ask for. I set up my easel on the floor and work standing, so your guests can watch the painting come up through the evening.

#### What I Paint
The couple's portrait. Usually your varmala moment or your pheras, whatever you will ask for. This is the couple only, not the guests. I do it as a full standing portrait of the two of you.

#### Sizes & What Decides the Price
The canvas size is what decides the price, not the number of people.

- 20 by 24 inches
- 24 by 30 inches
- 30 by 36 inches

#### Materials
Oil painting on canvas, cotton or linen. Same professional Camel Artist oil colours I use for my studio commissions, nothing lighter for live work.

#### On the Day
I finish the painting at the venue and hand it over to you there itself. You do not have to wait for it to reach you later.

I come dressed for the occasion, not in working clothes. You will not have to seat me separately or explain me to your guests.

One thing to know - oil takes its own time to dry, so the painting will still be wet when you take it. Handle it carefully that night.

#### Travel
Travel charges are additional, over and above the painting price. I work these out according to your venue, so tell me where the function is and I will let you know.

#### Booking & Payment
50% advance to book your date, 50% after the work is completed.

Cancellation: if I have not started your artwork yet, I return the full amount you have paid. Once I have started work on it, the 50% advance is not returned.

#### Good to Know
Dates go on a first come basis, so tell me early if your function is in wedding season.

## About Custom Paintings & Live Wedding Painting

### Why I Paint

Art is my devotion, not just my skill. Every painting feels like a search for myself, buried in colours - "रंगों में उलझी वो, खुद को तलाशती रहती है" (Entangled in colours, searching for herself). This is honestly how I work.

### What I Create

- Custom pieces based on your ideas or photos - literally anything from old, faded snaps to your roughest concept.
- Main focus is on spiritual canvas painting - portraits of deities like Radha Krishna, Shiva, or even personal oil paintings of your loved ones.
- Love making custom 3D textured art - where you can actually feel the artwork, not just see it. Sculpted details, raised surfaces, all that jazz.
- Also do glass painting commission work for that delicate, luminous vibe. Sometimes, I play with gouache for smaller, atmospheric scenes.

### Live Wedding Painting

I come to your venue and paint the couple live while the function is happening - your varmala moment ya pheras, whatever you want. I set up my easel on the floor, work standing, and your guests can watch the painting come up through the evening. I finish it there itself and hand it over to you the same night. Oil on canvas, same colours I use for my studio work. Travel charges depend on your venue.

### The Process

- Start with a chat. Doesn’t matter if your reference pics are old or blurry.
- I’ll check in during the process if I need to, but mostly I pour my heart into each piece.
- Every painting takes time - sometimes just a few days, sometimes 45+ hours. Depends on size and complexity.
- No two paintings are the same. Each one has a bit of my soul in it, simple as that.

## Meet your expert

### My story

Hi, I’m Karishma, Delhi ki artist. Art for me is pura devotion. Jab main paint karti hoon, I get lost in rang (colors) and canvas, searching for myself. Divine figures like Shiva and Krishna, painting their eyes – bas, that’s magic for me. My art is my shanti (peace), and I hope it brings a little calm and beauty to your home too.

### My work

- **Custom Artwork Commissions**: I make oil paintings, 3D art, charcoal sketches, pencil colour, gouache, and glass paintings. Sab kuch custom.
- **Live Wedding Painting**: I also come to your venue and paint the couple live, varmala ya pheras, and finish it there itself.
- **Spiritual Deity Paintings**: Mostly, I paint spiritual themes - Shiva, Krishna, Ganesha. It's pure devotion for me.
- **Personalized Portraits**: Family, pets, ya koi bhi – I put heart in every portrait, for clients worldwide.
- **All Heart, No AI**: Each piece takes me days sometimes. I work till it feels full of emotion and just right.
