Whether you're holding a brush for the first time or looking to refine your texture work, the trick is knowing when to layer your paint and how to prep your surface properly. We teach you those basics right here in our HSR studio so you can skip the frustration and get straight to creating something you're actually proud to hang on your wall. ### Why We Break It Down Many of our students walk in saying they can't draw a straight line. That is exactly who we built Art Beat for. Our philosophy is that art is a skill like any other—it requires the right process, not just 'inspiration.' When we teach a workshop, we aren't just showing you a final result; we are showing you how to handle the tools. ### What You Will Learn In our studio, we strip away the intimidation factor: * **Material Handling:** Learning which brush strokes create texture versus smooth gradients is 80% of the battle. We show you how to hold your tools so you are in control, not the paint. * **Surface Prep:** Whether you are doing decoupage or canvas painting, knowing how to prime your base ensures your work doesn't peel or crack a week later. * **Fixatives and Finishes:** One of the most common questions we get is how to protect a painting. We teach you the difference between varnishes and fixatives so your work stays vibrant. ### Join Us in HSR We keep our batches small to ensure every student gets direct feedback. If you have been watching our videos and thinking about picking up a hobby, stop waiting for the 'right' time. You don't need a studio at home or a rack of expensive supplies. Just bring yourself to our HSR Layout space, use our professional-grade materials, and follow our step-by-step guidance. You will be surprised by what you can create in just two hours. ## About Art Beat I’m Namratha, and I started Art Beat because I was tired of hearing people say they 'can't draw.'
