## About The Jhumka Collection

Choosing the right jhumka is about balancing weight and drama. I design my heavier, party-wear pieces with comfort in mind, often using balanced alloy bases so you can dance at weddings without feeling like your ears are dragging. If you have sensitive earlobes or need a specific colour to match your saree, just let me know and we can tweak the design.

My obsession with jhumkas goes beyond just following trends. I believe these traditional earrings are the easiest way to transform a simple kurta or a heavy bridal saree into a complete look. My collection spans from subtle oxidised silver domes that you can wear to the office, to dramatic, double-layered, stone-studded pieces perfect for a Ganesha festival or a wedding guest outfit.

Because I handcraft everything in my tiny workspace, I pay attention to the details that mass-produced jewellery often misses. I experiment with different finishes, like antique gold, black polish, and traditional silver, mixing in elements like real cowrie shells for a bohemian Navaratri vibe or delicate pearl loreals for a royal touch.

**How to style your jhumkas:**
- **For Daily Office Wear:** Opt for my lightweight cotton-thread-wrapped or small oxidised silver jhumkas. They are designed for 9-5 comfort and add a touch of personality to your professional attire.
- **For Festive Gatherings:** Go for the statement pieces with peacock or Ganesha motifs. These pair beautifully with silk sarees and lehengas.
- **For Custom Needs:** See something you like but want it in a different colour? Maybe you have a specific earring size in mind? Since I make these to order, I can adjust the colour of the beads, the length of the chains, or even the type of stud used.
