Removing moisture is what ensures your varmala or bouquets stay vibrant and do not rot inside the frame. I am extremely particular about this stage because if even a little moisture remains, the entire piece will spoil. People often see the final, glossy finish and do not realize the weeks of prep that go into it. Whether I am working on a wedding varmala, baby keepsakes, or spiritual items, my process is entirely about patience. ### The Drying Stage Flowers cannot go straight into resin. I carefully dehydrate them in silica gel for days to maintain their shape and natural color. This is the foundation of the preservation—if the flowers are not perfectly dry, they will brown or decay over time. ### Layering and Pouring Once the items are moisture-free, I arrange them in the molds. This requires multiple, slow pours of resin. The goal is a bubble-free, crystal-clear finish. Resin can be temperamental—sometimes it sets faster than I expect—but I work through these challenges to ensure the final piece is perfect. ### The Final Reveal Demoulding is the most satisfying part. Seeing that final, glossy piece come out of the mold, knowing it is now a permanent part of your home, makes every hour of prep work worth it.
