These battles are designed to push you out of your comfort zone, helping you translate the choreography you learn in class into pure, raw freestyle expression. ### From Class to Cypher At ARDS, we believe that dance is meant to be shared. You can practice in front of a mirror all day, but the cypher is where you actually find your voice. When we host events like *Spectra* and *Foundry*, it isn’t about intimidating each other. It’s about creating a space where the crowd, the DJ, and the dancers are all feeding off the same rhythm. ### Why We Battle We don't do battles to put anyone down. We do them to: * **Test Your Growth:** See how you handle high-pressure environments while keeping your flow. * **Community Support:** You’ll notice in our photos that even in competition, everyone is cheering. That’s the #ardsfam vibe. * **Feedback Loops:** Having peers and judges who actually care about your progress makes a massive difference. ### What to Expect Whether it’s a 1v1 Hip-Hop face-off or a 2v2 Open Style jam, the goal is to leave everything on the floor. Don't worry if you aren't a pro yet. Many of our regulars started as absolute beginners who were terrified to step into the circle. Our studio in Indiranagar is a safe space to fail, learn, and try again until your movement feels like second nature. If you are ready to stop just watching and start participating, come by for our next session. ## About ARDS We’re ARDS India. We built this place because we wanted a spot where the energy never dips, whether you’re just starting your groove or you're ready to jump straight into the cypher. We’re all about the vibe, the community, and turning those first-day nerves into pure confidence on the dance floor.
