For a project like Narmada, we specifically designed personal landscape terraces on every level. These are not just for show; they act as natural cooling buffers against Gujarat's intense heat, making the commercial environment significantly more comfortable and tranquil for everyone inside. Designing for a smart city like GIFT City requires a shift in perspective. It is not just about the building; it is about how that building breathes within the larger urban fabric. My approach to master planning is rooted in efficiency and climate responsiveness. Whether I am working on a mixed-use tower like Nakshatra Regalia II or a commercial hub like Narmada, I focus on volumetric analysis to manage wind loads and shadow impact, ensuring that the development is not only profitable for the developer but also a pleasure to occupy. We prioritize mixed-use zoning, which is crucial for modern Indian cities. By combining premium office spaces with retail, dining, and green deck zones, we reduce the need for commuting and create a more self-sufficient urban environment. For my commercial clients, this means maximizing the Floor Space Index (FSI) while maintaining a signature skyline aesthetic that stands out. Sustainability is woven into these projects from the foundation. We look at automated waste management, district cooling systems, and smart grid integration. But at the end of the day, a project is only successful if it can adapt. I design with flexibility in mind—spaces that can evolve from offices to showrooms or hospitals as the market needs change.
