Because I do not use preservatives, please plan ahead and order at least 24 hours in advance. This ensures the sponge stays moist and the ganache is perfectly set when it reaches your door from my kitchen in Khar. When I started Apero in the middle of lockdown, I wanted to create desserts that went beyond the standard bakery menu. Whether it is our signature Belgian Dark Chocolate Strawberry Bento Cake or the Matcha Custard Tres Leches, every item is designed to be an experience. ### Why my desserts are different I do not believe in mass production. When you order a dream cake or a cheesecake from me, it is being made specifically for you. That means balancing flavors—like the earthy bitterness of high-quality matcha with a creamy finish, or pairing a buttery crust with a tangy raspberry filling. ### Popular favorites - **Dream Cakes:** These are meant for digging in. They are rich, fudgy, and arrive in a tin. Perfect for a sudden craving or a celebration. - **Matcha Series:** I love experimenting with matcha. From my crackling cheesecake to coconut panna cotta, these offer a sophisticated, earthy profile for those who want something less sugary and more complex. - **Seasonal Specials:** I stick to what is fresh. During mango season, you will find my Mango Mascarpone Dream Cake on the menu, and during winter, I lean into boozy tiramisu and decadent chocolate bakes. ### How to order I operate out of Khar West. You can pick up your box directly, or I can arrange delivery across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. If you have a specific vision—maybe a custom cake for a birthday or a unique dessert box for an event—let me know. I am always happy to tweak recipes to match your vibe. Remember, because I avoid preservatives, these treats have a shorter shelf life and are best enjoyed within 24 to 48 hours. ## About Apero I am Malvika, the face and the chaos behind Apero. My kitchen in Khar West is where the magic happens, whether I am balancing a toddler on my hip or whipping up a fresh batch of ganache. Every dessert here carries a piece of my mother-in-law’s philosophy—cooking is not just about the recipe, it is about the love.
