Most days start at 5 a.m., long before the first guest arrives, filled with recipe testing, team huddles, and the occasional toddler tantrum. It is messy, loud, and incredibly fast-paced, but that intensity is exactly how we ensure your event feels like a hug, not a formal, cold presentation. ### The Reality of the Apero Kitchen There is no corporate playbook here. Apero began in the middle of a pandemic, born from a late-night epiphany and a jar of truffle edamame mousse. Today, that energy still powers everything we do. When you hire us for your event in Mumbai, you are not just getting a food setup; you are getting a team that has pulled all-nighters to perfect a sauce or rearranged logistics on the fly to meet a deadline. ### The Team Behind the Taste I am the face you see, but Apero is built by a team that slices, dices, and delivers magic. From Dhruv, who manages our operations with superhuman patience, to our kitchen staff who prep every single dip and platter by hand, everyone here is deeply invested in the final result. We do not believe in copy-paste catering. Whether it is a private gathering in Khar West or a large-scale product launch, we approach each project as a personal mission to create an experience, not just a service. ### Why We Do It My mother-in-law taught me that cooking is about love, not just following a recipe. That is the philosophy we take to every venue. We use house-made ingredients, fresh flowers, and specific lighting because the environment matters as much as the food. We want our grazing tables to be a conversation starter. We want our hot bites to bring people together. If you are looking for catering that feels personal, chaotic in the best way, and genuinely warm, then we are your people. ## About Apero Hi, I’m Malvika. I started Apero with a late-night cheese epiphany, and since then, my life has been a juggle of spreadsheets, toddler chaos, and truffle mousse. I’m a chef and a mom, and I believe the best events are the ones that feel as warm as home.
