I set up a creative station where your friends and family paint the background, and I finish it off with a custom portrait of the two of you. ## Photos and videos - [Video: Watch the journey of a wedding keepsake from start to finish. First, guests add their personal touches to the canvas during the celebration. Later, I complete the piece with a detailed portrait of the couple, and the final artwork is revealed to them as a surprise. During the event, I manage a 4-hour live station where guests paint the base textures, and then I work my magic to layer your portrait over their creations. By the end of the evening, you have a fully varnished, collaborative keepsake ready to take home. ### How the magic happens I treat this like a (semi) live painting experience. It is not just about keeping guests busy—it is about creating something that actually matters to you. We start with a 24 by 36 inch canvas that I have pre-sketched with your portrait layout. I keep the subject masked off while your guests fill the background with colors we have chosen to match your decor. ### Why it works for weddings Wedding guests often want to be involved but do not know how. This gives them a creative outlet that feels relaxed and fun, even if they have never held a brush before. I handle all the supplies, including: * Pre-sketched canvas prep and consultation * Acrylic paints and high-quality brushes * Table covers, easels, and aprons to keep your venue clean * Final varnishing so your painting lasts for years ### Practical details I travel to venues throughout the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. Because I am working on the portrait live, I usually need a clear spot near the action but with enough room for guests to stand and paint comfortably. If you are worried about the mess, do not be—I provide all the drop cloths and cleanup materials so you can just focus on the celebrations. Whether it is a small, intimate gathering or a larger crowd, I scale my guidance to ensure everyone feels included. Let's create something truly personal for your wall. ## About Anushka Nayak Hi, I am Anushka! I am a Mumbai-based artist who believes that art should be as fun as it is meaningful.
