In my classes, I do not just teach you to play these songs, I teach you the mechanics behind them. You will learn the chord progressions, melody building, and production secrets that take a track from a raw idea to a finished release on a label like Universal Music. I started Musicology in 2003 because I saw too much talent getting stuck in boring, aimless hobby classes. My philosophy is simple: music is a language, and like any language, it requires structure to master. Whether you are aiming to release your own music or just want to play your favorite Bollywood tracks, we skip the shortcuts and focus on the foundations. ### Why Learn with Me? My approach combines Western technical standards with the soul of Indian music. In our live online sessions, we break down: * **Songwriting & Production:** How to arrange chords, write melodies that stick, and use industry-standard software to produce your sound. * **Instrument Mastery:** Focused training on guitar, piano, or drums that goes beyond memorizing tabs. * **Ear Training:** Learning to recognize notes, rhythms, and progressions by sound—a skill that will make you a better musician for life. ### Who is this for? I work with absolute beginners as well as professional musicians looking to refine their craft. Because we operate through live, interactive Zoom sessions, I can offer real-time feedback on your technique, posture, and sound. It does not matter if you are based in India or abroad; as long as you have the drive to learn, we can work together to build your foundation. We offer group batches for peer learning and 1-on-1 mentorship for those who need a custom curriculum to prepare for auditions or professional recording. Let’s stop treating music like a weekend fling and turn it into a lifelong skill. ## About Anurag Dixit's Musicology I have spent 20 years on stages and in studios, and now I channel that experience into helping you find your own voice. Whether you want to master the guitar or write your first song, we skip the fluff and focus on the skills that actually matter.
