We use 18mm BWP marine-grade plywood for carcasses to handle constant moisture, paired with soft-close Hettich or Hafele hinges for smooth daily operation. Whether you need a parallel layout to maximize your floor space or an appliance garage to keep counters clear, we build for the way you actually cook. Kitchen design is not just about the surface finish, it is about the underlying architecture. In our Pune and Mumbai projects, we often see clients struggling with space management. Our approach to a modular kitchen starts with a 2D layout that optimizes the golden triangle—the sink, hob, and fridge. ### Material and Durability We standardize on 18mm BWP plywood for all wet areas, ensuring resistance to termites and water damage. For the shutters, we offer acrylic or PU-coated matte finishes that resist scratches and are easy to clean. If you are managing a compact apartment, we integrate floor-to-ceiling storage to hide appliances while maintaining a clean, handle-less look. ### Design Details That Matter We emphasize the small details that make a kitchen pleasant to work in: * **Lighting:** Under-cabinet LED profiles provide shadow-free task lighting over counters. * **Hardware:** We exclusively use soft-close drawer channels to prevent slamming and noise. * **Storage:** We implement tandem boxes for heavy pots and vertical pull-outs for spices to keep everything within arm's reach. * **Glasswork:** Fluted or tinted glass on overhead cabinets adds visual depth without making the room feel enclosed. For larger homes, we frequently introduce breakfast bars or islands that bridge the gap between the cooking area and the living space, allowing the person cooking to remain part of the conversation. If you have an existing space that feels cluttered, we can reconfigure the layout to improve the flow of movement. ## About Anthem Architecture We are Anthem Architecture, a young team focused on making your daily rituals feel special.
