You will notice I prefer small, precise brushes for blending—never large ones. A large brush might seem faster, but it often diffuses product too widely, which can make your features appear 'chubby' or less defined. By using a smaller brush, I maintain total control over pigment placement, ensuring that your smokey eye or contour is sharp, seamless, and perfectly tailored to your face shape. When you sit in my chair, you are getting more than just a makeover. You are getting a process built on over a decade of practice in Delhi's diverse wedding landscape. My core philosophy is simple: makeup should enhance who you are, not cover it up. ### The 'No Filter' Base My approach to foundation is about achieving a 'glass skin' finish that holds up to flash photography without looking heavy. I start with deep hydration, often using high-end emollients like Bobbi Brown Repair Balm. Whether we opt for HD liquid or airbrush application, the goal is always to keep the skin looking like skin. We do not use thick layers that crack or cake. If you have been worried about heavy makeup feeling unnatural, this is why I focus on prep work first. ### Eyes That Speak I believe the eyes are the focal point of any look. Whether we are doing a classic winged liner or an intense green smokey eye, it comes down to layering. I build colors gradually, starting with a base and slowly adding depth at the outer corners. This slow, deliberate blending ensures a professional gradient that does not look patchy. ### Tips for Everyone * **Mature Skin:** If you are worried about product settling, the secret is less product and more hydration. I avoid heavy shimmer on the lids and focus on clean, matte textures that minimize fine lines rather than highlighting them. * **The Punjabi Touch:** Many of my clients ask, 'kiddan da makeup karauna?' (what kind of makeup do you want?). I encourage you to bring your inspiration, but trust the process. I often see brides trying to conceal too much.
