I design spaces where pattern, color, and heritage textures come together to tell a story that feels entirely your own. ## Photos and videos - ![This bedroom is a masterclass in maximalism. I approach these spaces by layering a dominant heritage print, like a Mughal-inspired jaali, with smaller, contrasting accents. When we work on your space, I personally sketch the layout to ensure the density of the pattern feels intentional, not cluttered, so your walls become the anchor for the entire room. There is a quiet power in a room that refuses to be subtle. Whether you are drawn to the rich, layered textiles of my Weavers Bazaar collection or the storytelling potential of a floor-to-ceiling mural, maximalism is about creating a visual texture that greets you the moment you walk in. ### Why Go Bold? Many people fear that intense patterns will shrink a space. My experience shows the opposite. When we utilize the right motifs, a bold wallpaper can actually define the geometry of a room, adding depth where there was none. For instance, using a detailed, repeating heritage print on a ceiling paired with muted, complementary walls can make a room feel like a jewel box. ### The Process If you want to bring this aesthetic home, we start by identifying the 'why' behind the pattern. Are we trying to recreate the opulence of a Rajasthani haveli, or are you looking for a modern, abstract explosion of color? 1. **Mood Boarding:** We gather fabric swatches, color palettes, and cultural references that resonate with you. 2. **Sketching:** I draw the composition by hand to ensure the scale works for your specific wall dimensions, avoiding the 'repetitive' look of mass-produced rolls. 3. **Production:** We print on textured materials—like canvas or silk-finish papers—that add a tactile element to the visual impact. Whether you are a maximalist looking to push boundaries or a minimalist ready to take one brave step into color, my goal is to guide you through the process of choosing art that you will not tire of in a month. ## About Ankita Arya I am Ankita.
