For furniture shutters or tabletops, I focus on vector-quality artwork that maintains perfect clarity at custom dimensions, ensuring the grain of the wood or the texture of the tile complements the design rather than fighting it. My studio is where these ideas start. Whether it is printing a heritage-inspired pattern onto wardrobe shutters or hand-painting a ceiling medallion, the goal is to break the monotony of standard interior surfaces. ### Why consider non-wall surfaces? Walls are just the starting point. When you paint a ceiling, you change the entire volume of a room. When you add art to a cupboard or a table, you turn functional furniture into a conversation piece. I use specialized printing techniques for wood and ceramic that ensure the art flows seamlessly over edges. ### Process for custom surfaces - **Surface assessment:** We first identify the material. Is it wood? Ceramic? Does it need a primer? - **Digital prototyping:** I create a mock-up to ensure the pattern scales correctly across your specific furniture or ceiling dimensions. - **Material testing:** Since prints interact differently with wood grains versus matte wall surfaces, we run tests to ensure color accuracy. - **Finishing:** For high-touch areas like tables or tiles, I apply protective coatings to ensure the art survives daily wear and tear. Reach out to me to discuss how we can turn your plain furniture or awkward corners into a visual highlight. ## About Ankita Arya I am Ankita.
