Because the skin on your feet is thicker than your hands, I use a specific mix of 100% natural henna that stains deep, even on those tougher areas. I always recommend keeping the design on for at least 6 to 8 hours and avoiding water for the first 24 hours to get that rich, deep mahogany stain you see in my photos. Whether you are a bride or just celebrating a festival, your feet are the perfect canvas for something special. I love incorporating architectural details, like tiny temple domes or intricate jharokhas, right onto the ankle.
