My first tip for any beginner is to physically connect with your deck. I keep a crystal like Amethyst or Clear Quartz in my pouch; it actively cleanses the cards and keeps your readings unbiased, preventing the energies from previous sessions from clouding your next intuitive read. Learning Tarot should be intuitive, not a memory test. Whether you are picking up your first Rider-Waite deck or looking to refine your interpretation, the key is the relationship you build with your tools. ### The Foundations of Reading Before you dive into the Major Arcana, you need to understand energy. Think of your cards as an extension of your own energy. Just like we wash our hands, we must cleanse our decks. I recommend using the 'knocking method' or sage smoke between readings to neutralize leftover energy. If you skip this, your readings will feel muddy. ### Interpreting the Major Arcana We often start with cards like The Magician. It is a powerful symbol of manifestation—pointing up to the universe and down to the earth, grounded in action. When you see this, do not just read the meaning. Look at the symbols. The cups, wands, and pentacles on the table represent the resources available to you. That is the secret to learning—observing the details that speak to your specific situation. ### How I Can Guide You I teach in a way that respects the traditional systems while keeping it real for your daily life. We cover: * **Deck Selection:** Choosing the right illustrations that resonate with your vibe. * **Cleansing Rituals:** Keeping your deck sharp and accurate. * **Intuitive Synthesis:** Reading the flow of the cards instead of just the literal meaning. * **Practical Applications:** Using Tarot for career, relationships, and daily spiritual hygiene. If you are feeling a disconnect from your cards, that is usually a sign that your energy alignment is off. Reach out, and we can work through these blocks together. ## About Ankitaa I am Ankitaa, and for me, Tarot is a way to channel the universe's guidance.
