Think about where your guests will actually stand and the lighting at your venue. If the space is tight, we should avoid wide props that block the walkway. I prefer setups like the artificial cherry blossom tree or floral rings that look good from all angles, ensuring your guests don't end up with a crowded or awkward frame in their pictures. Setting up a dedicated photo corner is more about planning than just decoration. In my years working across Mumbai, I have learned that the best spots are usually near the entrance or a well-lit corner of the hall. If you want a selfie corner, we need enough clearance for the photographer to stand back and get the full shot without bumping into guest tables. ### Why Specialty Decor Matters Most events have a main stage, but that is where you, the hosts, will be. A secondary photo booth or installation allows guests to take photos without waiting in line for the main stage. It keeps the event flow smooth. ### Styles I Often Create * **Floral Installations:** I use a mix of fresh and high-quality artificial flowers, like the cherry blossom tree design, to create depth. These work best for weddings, anniversaries, and naming ceremonies. * **Lattice and Metallic Panels:** For a more modern or evening reception, I use gold lattice screens or shimmer walls. These look excellent when paired with proper stage lighting or neon signs. * **Traditional Jhula Setups:** For functions like Dohale Jevan or Haldi, I incorporate traditional swings with marigold garlands. These serve as a great photo backdrop and a functional seating area for the ritual. ### Logistical Tips * **Space:** Most of my photo corner packages require at least a 6x6 ft area to look good. If your venue is compact, let me know in advance so I can suggest a layout that fits. * **Setup Time:** Depending on the complexity, I usually need about 90 minutes to assemble these structures. If your venue has strict timings, I can adjust the design complexity to speed up the process. Whether it is a garden-themed wedding or a home celebration in Mira Road, I can customize the props to match your event theme. ## About Anjani Decorators I am Anjani Decorators, and I have been setting up stages and event spaces in Mumbai since 2003.
