In these videos, you get a glimpse of the 'before'—the hours of repetition, the effort of finding the right note, and the peace I feel when the Sitar finally captures the mood I am looking for. This is the heart of my music, unedited and honest. For a classical musician, riyaaz is not just practice. It is a dialogue with the instrument. My Acharya, Pt. Bimlendu Mukherjee, taught me that the instrument is an extension of the soul, and these sessions are where I keep that connection alive. Whether I am diving deep into the meditative Alap of Raag Yaman or working through the delicate phrases of Raag Bhimpalas, these moments are unscripted. I often share these clips because I want you to hear the sound exactly as it is—no studio polish, no stage lights, just the natural resonance of my Sitar and Surbahar. If you are planning an event, these videos will give you a real sense of my sound and the traditional style I follow. Whether it is a small, intimate Baithak or a larger celebration, the music I play during these practice sessions is the foundation for everything I perform. My approach remains rooted in the traditional Guru-Shishya parampara, ensuring every performance retains that authentic, peaceful quality. If you appreciate this style of music and are looking for a Sitar or Surbahar artist for your upcoming event, let us connect. ## About Aniruddha Joshi I am Aniruddha.
