Capturing the likeness, especially in the eyes, is the most important part of creating a realistic portrait.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/78eb6d6a-bafd-4dd0-98a5-b8c4bf8bb379) ## About Individual Portraits I start with a grid method to ensure the facial structure is 95% accurate before I even touch the shading. I use professional-grade graphite and charcoal on 200-250 GSM acid-free paper, finishing every piece with a protective fixative spray so your portrait arrives smudge-free and ready to display. An individual portrait is more than just a drawing. It is a way to freeze a moment in time. When you send me a photo, I do not just trace lines. I look for the details that make the person who they are, from the way they smile to the specific details in their attire. For these A4 size sketches, I keep the focus on the bust and shoulder level, ensuring the proportions are balanced and the depth is right. If you prefer, we can discuss adding a minimal black frame to your order, which I pack in a bubble-wrap sandwich to ensure it reaches you in one piece. I take about 5 to 7 days to complete a sketch. Once it is finished, I secure it in a PVC tube or flat-pack it, depending on the framing choice, and ship it across India. Whether you want this for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a birthday or anniversary, I ensure the quality is something I would be proud to hang on my own wall. ## About Aniket I am Aniket. By day I handle a corporate job, but by night, I am sketching portraits at my desk in Nagve. I do not see myself as a pro, just a guy who loves to capture a smile or a look on paper, one pencil stroke at a time.
