I insist on using zero VOC paints and rounded edges on all custom joinery to prevent bumps and bruises. Beyond the murals and decor, we focus on floor planning that prioritizes clear play areas and easy storage, making sure the room remains practical for you while being magical for your little one. Every child's room I work on is treated as a personal project, much like the nursery I designed for my own family. My goal is to strike the perfect balance between a 'wow' factor that sparks creativity and the functional reality that parents need. ### The #ANDkids Philosophy I believe a child's space should be sustainable and safe. This means I prefer using natural materials like cane, solid wood, and cotton textiles over synthetic alternatives. For furniture, I focus on pieces that serve multiple purposes, like beds with built-in storage or reading nooks that tuck into vertical space. Whether it is a safari-themed wallpaper mural or a soft, monochromatic palette, I work to ensure the room is calming for sleep but inspiring for play. ### Designing for Growth Children change quickly, and their rooms should keep up. I design layouts that can evolve from a nursery to a toddler's room and eventually a study space without needing a complete overhaul. - **Safety First:** Every piece of custom furniture features rounded corners, soft-close hardware, and anti-tip mechanisms. - **Non-Toxic Materials:** I use zero VOC paints and natural finishes, ensuring the air quality in your home remains pure. - **Customization:** From house-shaped bunk beds to integrated toy storage, I build furniture tailored specifically to your room's dimensions and your child's interests.
