Whether it is a kitchen with custom-painted tiles or a clinic that doubles as a bedroom, I focus on natural light, sustainable materials, and spaces that truly breathe. ## Photos and videos - ![This kitchen, featured in Architectural Digest, showcases my passion for creating unique details. I love using rattan and fluted glass not just for the look, but to allow light to flow through rooms while maintaining privacy, which is essential in our compact urban homes. I believe that a home is more than just four walls. It is a space where your daily life happens. My process is deeply hands-on. I do not just draft plans; I source the right materials—like brass, solid wood, and natural stone—that feel good to touch and last through the years. Every home I design is a reflection of the person living there. If you love cooking, we focus on the kitchen ergonomics and custom cabinetry. If you need a workspace, we ensure it integrates seamlessly with your living area without making the home feel like an office. Sustainability is not a label for me; it is about choosing materials that do not need replacing every few years. It is about breathable walls, maximized natural ventilation, and joinery that stays sturdy. My goal is to create interiors that are simple, functional, and classic. Whether you are in Mumbai or elsewhere, I work to understand your habits and rhythm, ensuring the space supports your life, not the other way around. From the first sketch to the final polish, I am on-site, talking to the team, and making sure the plan works in real life, not just on paper. ## About Anusha Nanavati I am Anusha, an architect by day and a baker by night.
