We start with weighted dolls to master wrapping and safe posing before working with a live newborn model, so you aren't guessing when you get to your own sessions. You will walk away with a portfolio-ready image from our live demo and the technical confidence to manage lighting and baby comfort without any hesitation. ### A Two-Day Foundation in Newborn Photography Photography is more than just clicking a button; it is about managing a live, delicate subject. In my studio at Lodha Luxuria, I keep cohort sizes small—between 5 and 8 students—to ensure that every person gets direct supervision. We don't rely on theory alone. **Day 1: Theory, Safety, and Preparation** We cover the anatomy of a newborn, circulation, and strict hygiene protocols that are non-negotiable. You will spend hours practicing with weighted professional dolls to master the Potato Sack, Criss-Cross, and Womb Wrap styles. We also dive into studio lighting—understanding how to use strobe versus natural light to create soft, professional-grade images. **Day 2: The Live Experience and Business** We put everything into practice with a live newborn model. You will observe my entire workflow, from settling the baby to transitioning poses. You get supervised shooting time to build your own portfolio images. We also cover the business side: how to price your work, source props, and manage client expectations to build a sustainable career. ### Why Learn With Me? - **Safety Certified:** As an APNPI Ambassador, I prioritize newborn safety above all else. - **Portfolio Building:** You leave with actual images from the workshop for your marketing materials. - **Comprehensive Support:** We discuss your specific struggles, whether it is lighting angles or managing a fussy baby. You walk out with a physical certificate and the practical knowledge to start your business the next day. ## About Amrit Ammu Hi, I’m Amrit.
