It is a completely natural feeling. In my sessions, we address this head-on with supervised, hands-on practice using weighted dolls before moving to a live baby model. You will learn the exact wrapping techniques, lighting setups, and posing workflows that keep a baby calm and secure, so you can focus on building your confidence and your portfolio. ### From Nervous to Pro: My Training Approach I believe photography is more than just clicking a button. Whether you are a beginner picking up a camera or a professional looking to specialize, newborn photography requires a distinct set of skills centered around one non-negotiable: safety. As an APNPI ambassador, I teach the international standards I use in my own shoots. ### What We Cover - **Safety & Anatomy:** We start with the basics. You will learn about newborn circulation, hygiene, and how to read baby cues, ensuring you always put the subject’s comfort first. - **Wrapping & Posing:** I guide you through signature styles like the Womb Wrap and Potato Sack pose. You will learn how to transition between setups smoothly, keeping the baby asleep and the session efficient. - **Lighting & Business:** It is not enough to take a great photo. I teach you how to set up studio lights, work with natural light, and handle the business side of things—from pricing your services to managing client expectations. ### Choose Your Learning Path - **2-Day In-Studio Workshop (Thane):** This is for those who want the full, immersive experience. We limit cohorts to 5-8 students so I can provide personal feedback while we shoot with live models in my home studio. - **Online Masterclasses:** Perfect for learning from home. You get the same technical walkthroughs, Q&A time, and a 7-day replay to practice at your own pace. - **1-on-1 Mentoring:** If you have specific roadblocks, like editing, lighting, or portfolio gaps, we will tackle them in a private session tailored to your needs. My goal is to help you build a business that is as sustainable as it is beautiful. Let’s get you ready. ## About Amrit Ammu Hi, I’m Amrit.
