Dance is my daily practice, my creative expression, and my connection to a tradition centuries old. ## About The Art of Kuchipudi: Form, Expression & Practice

The beauty of a Kuchipudi performance often masks the sheer physical grind required to achieve it. Whether I am dancing on a brass plate in a Tarangam or holding a specific abhinaya expression to tell a story, I rely on a solid foundation of rhythmic practice. When booking, please ensure your venue has a wooden stage or a high-quality sprung floor, as this is non-negotiable for my safety during complex footwork and landings.

### Beyond the Stage: My Process
My journey with Kuchipudi is not just about the moments under the spotlight; it is defined by the hours of riyaz (practice) in the studio. Kuchipudi is a high-energy, technically demanding form that marries the rhythmic precision of Nritta with the emotive power of Abhinaya.

When I perform, I draw heavily on the Vempati Chinna Satyam lineage. You will notice this in the fluidity of my movements and the exactitude of my footwork. I believe in honoring this tradition while keeping it accessible. Whether I am presenting a traditional Tarangam, where I balance on the rim of a brass plate, or a more contemporary, narrative-driven piece, my goal remains the same: to tell a story that connects.

### Booking for Your Event
If you are considering a Kuchipudi performance for your event in Delhi NCR or anywhere in India, let us discuss the logistics early.

* Space Requirements: A dedicated, clean, and preferably wooden-floored stage is crucial. It protects joints and ensures the sound of the ghungroos (ankle bells) carries correctly.
* Technical Needs: Depending on the package, I perform with a high-fidelity backing track or a full live Carnatic orchestra. A soundcheck of at least 60 minutes is mandatory for live ensemble shows to balance the violin, flute, and mridangam with my movements.
* Personal Connection: I prefer to have a quick call before booking to understand the vibe of your event. Art is personal, and I want to ensure my performance aligns with the story you want to tell.
