## About Live Portrait Demonstrations

My live sessions are about more than just the final result. I work on large 22x30 inch Arches paper, using Supervision mineral watercolours to build depth and likeness in 90 to 120 minutes. It is a fully interactive experience where I often discuss my techniques, the thought process behind the brushstrokes, and how I plan an illustration, making it suitable for both art enthusiasts and general audiences.

### Witnessing the Process
When I perform a live portrait demonstration, my goal is to demystify the act of painting. Whether it is at an art festival in Pune, a college event, or a gallery inauguration, I treat the session as an educational dialogue. I start with a pencil sketch to establish proportions and gradually layer the colours, allowing the audience to see the portrait emerge from a blank sheet.

### Technical Standards for Live Art
Quality materials are the foundation of my performance. I rely on 100% cotton Arches or Baohong paper because they handle the heavy water washes required for watercolour portraits without warping. I use mineral watercolours for their rich, granular texture, which ensures the painting looks vibrant even from a distance. If the event setup requires acrylics, I stick to high-density pigments that provide immediate visual impact.

After the session, the 22x30 inch original artwork is handed over immediately to the host as a tangible memory of the occasion.
