I focus on the rhythm of the Devanagari script, using traditional ink and brush techniques that I spent years mastering under teachers like Achyut Palav Sir. Every curve and stroke is deliberate, ensuring the writing carries the same grace and weight as the words themselves. ### The Discipline of the Brush Calligraphy is not just about writing, it is a practice of control and intent. My journey with *akshar lekhan* began at home, watching my father, and continued through formal training at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya. I was fortunate to learn under Prof. Babu Udupi, whose discipline regarding composition and spacing still guides my hand today. Later, studying the techniques of international calligrapher Achyut Palav Sir opened my eyes to how a simple brush stroke can carry immense energy. Whether I am working on a massive paper roll for a public event or a smaller, framed piece for a private collection, I apply the same philosophy: the ink must breathe. ### My Approach to Commissions - **Traditional Techniques:** I work primarily with traditional brush and ink, keeping the Devanagari script authentic and powerful. - **Scalable Work:** From intimate greeting cards and quotes to large 15-foot banners for cultural events like Gulmohar Day, I handle various sizes. - **Custom Content:** I can help you select poems, quotes, or phrases that resonate with your event, ensuring the message matches the artistic style. Working with lettering has given me a deep respect for the 'space' around words.
