I start with a Russian manicure to clean your cuticles and prep the nail plate so the gradient sits flat and flush, not thick or bumpy. This technique makes the blend look seamless and keeps your nails looking fresh for longer without lifting. Ombré nails are a constant favorite because they are so versatile, but the difference between a good set and a great one is in the technique. When I do your nails, I pay close attention to the transition. For a classic baby boomer, I use a soft white and pink gel that fades perfectly, mimicking a natural, healthy nail. If you want something bolder, like a black and red mix or pastel purple, I use airbrushing tools to get that perfect spray-on effect that you just cannot achieve with a regular brush. My studio in Malad is fully equipped for this. I obsess over the prep work, using an e-file for precise cuticle work. This isn't just about making them look pretty; it's about making them last. If you have brittle or short nails, we can add a structured gel overlay to build a little strength before we start the design. Whether it is an inbuilt art design with gold flakes or just a clean chrome accent nail, I work with you to ensure the final result matches your vision.
