This precision is crucial because it allows the gel base to bond directly to your nail plate, preventing that annoying lifting and helping your manicure grow out seamlessly for weeks. Many people come to me with brittle, damaged nails, thinking the only fix is to cover them up. I believe in fixing the foundation first. ### Why Russian Manicure? Traditional manicures rely on soaking, which can weaken the nail plate. I use the Russian technique, which is a dry process. By using an electronic file and diamond bits, I gently lift and clean the cuticle. This creates a high-adhesion zone for the gel base, ensuring your polish stays put and your natural nails stay healthy underneath. ### Form Extensions vs. Tips If you see my work, you will notice I rarely use plastic glue-on tips. I prefer sculpting with paper forms. This method allows me to build the extension from scratch, customizing the shape and C-curve to fit your specific nail bed perfectly. It is lighter, stronger, and feels way more natural than glue-on plastic.
