For that Mahashivratri setup you see in the gallery, I used layered purple hydrangeas to create depth around the deity, rather than just a flat background, because you want the energy to feel immersive. Whether it is a small apartment corner or a hall for a Mata ki Chowki, I ensure the layout leaves enough room for your family to participate comfortably without feeling cramped. For me, a sacred space needs to hold a certain energy. I work with high-quality artificial flowers, like hydrangeas and roses, because they stay fresh and vibrant for the entire duration of your puja or festival, whether that is a 1.5-day Ganpati or a longer Akhand Path. I understand that Mumbai homes come in all shapes and sizes. I have set up delicate floral canopies in compact living rooms and grand backdrops for spacious penthouse mandirs. If you are planning a 'Din Shagna Da' moment for an intimate home wedding, I focus on warm, ambient lighting and clean, elegant framing that looks beautiful in photos without overwhelming your space. My process is simple: I visit, we discuss the vibe, and I handle the rest. I use sturdy, non-damaging structures for backdrop mounting, so you do not have to worry about your walls. From vibrant red and white themes for Mata ki Chowki to subtle pastel florals for Mahashivratri, I adjust my material choices to match your specific ceremony. If you have an existing mandir structure, I work around it to enhance it rather than hiding it. ## About Shalini Jeetu Luthria I’m Shalini, and I’ve been styling homes across Mumbai since 1983.
