We keep our calendar buzzing with everything from Quebec comic book talks to national-level read-aloud competitions, so keep an eye on our social media or just drop by Lodhi Estate to see what’s happening this weekend. Learning a language is only half the journey. The other half is living it. At Alliance Française de Delhi, we treat our space as a community hub where the vibrant Francophone culture of Delhi gathers. Whether you are a student preparing for the DELF/DALF exams or someone who just loves French cinema and literature, our events are designed to give you a front-row seat to the culture. We regularly host distinguished guests, ranging from French diplomats like Dominique Antoine to visiting authors and professors from universities across the globe. These interactions are not stiff formalities; they are lively conversations that happen right in our library or auditorium. You will find us celebrating student wins at our Read-Aloud competitions, hosting workshops on everything from creative writing to comic book creation, and opening our doors for community-wide Open Days. Our library isn't just about the 30,000+ books on the shelves. It is a dynamic venue for our 'Écrire en français' exhibitions, poetry recitals, and hybrid events where virtual participants join the action on the big screen. We embrace the 'dheeme dheeme' (slowly) approach to learning, where you absorb the language through immersion—whether that is over a coffee, during a film screening, or while browsing our dedicated PRIDE corner. If you have been looking for a place where you can meet fellow French enthusiasts, artists, and dreamers, you have found it. Our events are the perfect way to practice your conversation skills in a low-pressure, welcoming environment. Check our current schedule, grab a book, and let's get started. Allons-y! ## About Alliance Française We are Alliance Française de Delhi, and we believe learning French happens best when you actually live it. Beyond the grammar drills and exam prep, we open our doors to host the vibrant community of artists, writers, and students who make our cultural life in Lodhi Estate so special.
