We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before the show to grab a good spot, explore the library, and settle in before the lights dim. The M.L. Bhartia Auditorium is where we bring the Francophone stage to life in Delhi. Whether you are looking for timeless French theatre featuring plays by Molière or Marivaux, or a modern laugh with international stand-up comedians like Sebastian Marx, there is always something happening on our stage. We believe culture should be shared, which is why we blend the traditional with the contemporary. You will find us hosting everything from electrifying musical tributes celebrating icons like Charles Aznavour to experimental Indo-French collaborations that bridge two worlds through dance and drama. We collaborate frequently with embassies, international schools, and local artists to ensure our programming is diverse and accessible. If a play is in French, we ensure English subtitles are available so that language is never a barrier to enjoying the performance. Our stage is a space for dialogue and discovery. From theatre students performing their first plays to seasoned artists sharing their craft, every performance is an opportunity to connect. Please keep an eye on our calendar, as many of these events are open to the public and provide a perfect evening out in Delhi. ## About Alliance Française We are Alliance Française de Delhi, your local window into the world of French culture. Our auditorium isn't just a space, it is a meeting point where Indian and French artists connect to create something new for you.
