Our workshops are designed to be tactile and experimental. Whether you are trying your hand at Devanagari calligraphy with unconventional tools or dissecting the narrative arc in a graphic novel workshop, you are engaging with the culture, not just memorizing grammar. It is a space where you produce something tangible—a piece of writing, a drawing, or a finished craft—while meeting a community that shares your curiosity. At Alliance Française de Delhi, we believe that learning should be an interactive journey. Our workshops break the monotony of traditional education by focusing on creativity and cultural immersion. ### Hands-On Exploration We offer a rotating selection of workshops that cater to diverse interests. If you love storytelling, our Comics Experience Workshop delves into graphic novels as an expressive medium, analyzing everything from layout to pacing. For those interested in mindful art, our calligraphy sessions explore the Devanagari script, teaching you how to express themes and emotions using only words and traditional tools. ### A Community of Francophiles These sessions are about more than just the skill. They are about the environment. You will find yourself working alongside a diverse group of students, artists, and enthusiasts in our gallery and library spaces. It is a chance to interact with visiting authors, native French writers, and local experts who bring real-world experience into the room. ### Why Join Us? - **Tangible Outputs:** Whether it is a short story draft, a piece of calligraphy, or a new culinary skill, you take your work home. - **Expert-Led:** Sessions are facilitated by industry professionals, visiting artists, and our own skilled faculty. - **Inclusive Atmosphere:** No prior experience is needed for most workshops. We encourage beginners and pros alike to jump in. Located in the heart of Lodhi Estate, we invite you to drop by for a session. Whether you are looking for a weekend creative outlet or a deeper connection to French culture, there is a place for you here. Allons-y! ## About Alliance Française We are the Alliance Française de Delhi, and we believe language is meant to be lived, not just studied. Our team is passionate about bridging cultures, whether it’s through film, art, or the simple joy of sharing a crêpe. Come by our Lodhi Estate campus to find your tribe.
