We invite you to our studios in Bangalore, Kochi, or Calicut to touch the fabrics, examine the wallpaper textures, and see how the light interacts with different finishes. This hands-on consultation prevents the most common mistake in home decor: choosing finishes that look good in a catalog but fail to translate to the actual lighting of your room. Our approach is built on the belief that a home should not just look good, but feel like a reflection of its owner. We avoid the off the shelf route completely. Every project begins with an understanding of how you live, not just what you want to see. ### The Art of Material Selection Whether it is sourcing exclusive Sabyasachi or Nilaya wallcoverings or selecting heavy-duty Jacquards for curtains, we prioritize longevity and tactile quality. We do not work with mass-market products. Our curtains feature precise Ripple Fold stitching and blackout linings because we know that light control is as critical as aesthetic appeal. ### Technical Precision Beauty in interiors is often ruined by poor execution. We pay obsessive attention to the technical side of the installation. For our wallcoverings, this means meticulous surface preparation—sanding and priming—to prevent the peeling that often happens with lower-grade work. For our window treatments, we ensure level alignment and perfect steaming so the final drape falls exactly as designed. ### Collaborative Design We view our clients as partners. You are always in control of the direction, while we handle the craft. From selecting the right shade of wooden blinds to ensuring the custom furniture fits your floor plan, our goal is to eliminate guesswork. We provide the expertise, the exclusive access to premium brands, and the execution team to bring it all together without the hassle of managing multiple vendors. ## About Alankara Homestories We treat every home project as a personal canvas. Our team sources exclusive materials, from designer wallpapers to premium drapery, and ensures they are installed with the same care as if they were for our own studios.
