You do not need any prior sculpting experience to join. I guide you through the entire process, from building the base to adding fine details like the trunk and ornaments, ensuring you walk away with a Ganesha you made entirely by hand. For me, Ganesh Chaturthi is about quiet reflection and creating something meaningful for your home. During these workshops, we put aside the rush of the city and focus entirely on the clay. The sessions typically last 3 to 4 hours, which gives us plenty of time to get comfortable with the material without any pressure. What is included in your session: - 100% natural Shadu clay that is safe and follows traditional practices. - Step-by-step guidance suitable for children aged 5 and up. - A sturdy, decorative wooden Patla for your idol to sit on. - Proper packaging so your clay model stays safe while it dries at home. Because we work with wet clay, the process is very tactile and grounding. Whether you are a parent looking for a meaningful activity for your child or an adult wanting to reconnect with a festive ritual, this is a space where you can create without judgment. If a piece goes wrong, we simply smooth it out and keep going. My studio in Bandra is fully equipped for comfort, so just bring yourself and an open mind. ## About Alafiyas Kinderart I am Alafiya, and I started these workshops to bring back the simplicity of Ganesh Chaturthi.
