Whether it is painting a traditional Gudi or creating a Holi bonfire scene, I focus on the storytelling behind the festival. I walk the kids through the cultural history of the occasion, so they are not just applying paint to paper, they are understanding the celebration while developing their own unique artistic style. ### Making Festivals Meaningful In my studio, festivals are not just dates on a calendar; they are a canvas for imagination. When we celebrate Gudi Padwa, it is not just about drawing a Gudi; we talk about the spirit of the new year, the bright colors, and the traditions involved. My Bandra studio becomes a space where children step away from screens and connect with the joy of creating something by hand. ### What You Can Expect For Diwali, we move beyond simple diya painting to explore intricate, elephant-themed decorations that kids can take pride in. During Holi, we tackle the challenge of painting bonfires and traditional scenes, which teaches kids about composition, blending, and color theory without the pressure of strict academic rules. We focus on the process over perfection. ### Why Join Our Festive Workshops? * **Cultural Connection:** Kids learn the stories and symbols behind Indian festivals like Rakshabandhan and Lohri. * **Creative Freedom:** I encourage them to put their own twist on traditional themes, making each piece unique. * **Small Batches:** With limited spots in each session, every child gets the space to ask questions and try new techniques with proper guidance. Whether it is Friendship Day or a seasonal celebration, these sessions are about capturing the emotion of the day. You will walk in with a curious child and walk out with a proud artist who has a deeper appreciation for our shared traditions. ## About Alafiyas Kinderart I am Alafiya, and my studio is where art meets pure, unfiltered joy.
