We often set up artistic portraits using doorways or shadows to frame the couple, which takes a little extra time during the event. If you want these shots, we recommend blocking out 20 minutes in your schedule just for us to wander with you. We define 'artistic' as using your wedding venue’s architecture and ambient light to create something different. You will see plenty of silhouette work and reflection shots in our portfolio, as this is a deliberate style we bring to every event, from rooftop receptions in Coimbatore to grand ballroom weddings in Bangalore. Capturing these does not mean standing still for hours. It is about spotting a doorway, a play of light, or a mirror that turns a standard couple portrait into an image you would want to hang on your wall. We focus on these creative shots alongside our documentary coverage. While we are busy catching the chaos of the dance floor or the emotion of a ritual, we also keep an eye out for these quiet, composed moments. If you have a specific venue with interesting architecture, let us know before the event. We love planning how to use that space for a few creative portraits that stand out from the rest of your wedding album. ## About AK Smoke Films We are the team behind AK Smoke Films, and we do not believe in staging your entire wedding day. We would rather capture the real, unscripted energy—whether that is a chaotic cricket game on a rooftop or a quiet, tear-filled vow exchange—so you have memories that actually feel like you.
