I sit with you to turn that raw material into melody and structure. We focus on finding the exact sound that fits your truth, whether it needs a stripped-back acoustic feel or a fully produced hip-hop beat. Songwriting is rarely about finding the perfect rhyme. It is about capturing a moment, a frustration, or a love, and making it audible. Whether you are looking for an indie-pop ballad or a high-energy hip-hop anthem, the process starts in the same place: a conversation. ### The Process We begin with a one-hour brainstorming session. You tell me your story, share your lyrics, or describe the mood. I sketch out the musical direction using guitar or keys. From there, we layer the sound. I offer two main pathways for your project: * **Acoustic Demo:** Ideal if you want a clean, honest representation of your song. This includes the melody, lyrics, chord progression, and a professional-grade acoustic recording. * **Full Track Production:** For when you are ready to drop something on streaming platforms. We handle everything from instrumentation and vocal production to mixing and mastering, ensuring your track stands up to industry standards. ### Why Work With Me My background combines a diploma in music production with formal training in Hindustani classical vocals. I bring both the technical discipline to produce a song that sounds polished and the creative chaos needed to keep it original. I have worked out of home studios and professional spaces like The Blue Cat Recording Co. to get the right sound. You retain the master recording rights for all tracks. My goal is to ensure that when you listen to the final file, it sounds like the story you told me, just louder and clearer. ## About Akshita Mengi I am Akshita. Music has been my way of shedding my armor since I was ten. I blend the discipline of Hindustani classical training with the modern edge of pop and hip-hop production to help you find your unique voice.
