It's where I drop my guard and actually feel things. My own songs come from those raw spots, and that's what I want to help you tap into too. Like, *kuch logo ke sath sirf waqt bitane se sab kuch theek hojata hai* (sometimes just spending time with the right folks makes everything okay) - I think songs can hold that feeling. ### What I Can Do For You - If you’ve got a whole poem, just a line, or even only a mood, I can help turn it into a real song. - Songwriting: We’ll dig for that true, honest bit in your story, then build lyrics and melody that feel like you. - Production: I’ll shape the full sound - structure, instruments, the whole vibe, whether it’s indie-pop or even hip-hop track production. - Vocals: I can sing (lead or backing) or guide you through recording so your voice fits the song perfectly. - End-to-end: If you want, I handle the whole thing till your track’s ready to drop. ### My Style Mostly, my heart’s in custom indie-pop song creation, but I love working on pop and hip-hop too. Each project’s about finding the exact right sound for your story. ### How It Works - We start with whatever you’ve got - a theme, a scrap of lyric, or just a feeling. - I sketch ideas (usually guitar or keys), then we layer up sounds till it clicks. - We polish vocals, mix, and you get a song that’s truly you. ### My Background I’ve got a diploma in Music Production and a Senior Diploma in Hindustani classical vocals. Daily *riyaaz* keeps me grounded, and I work out of a home studio or pro space depending on what your project needs. I bring both discipline and a bit of chaos - just enough to make something real. ## Highlights Browse through Akshita Mengi's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/akshitamengi7/songwriting-music-production/featured) - [Video: This is how quickly an idea can become a song. Bombay’s chaos is my jam now, but Goa taught me ‘Susegad’—contentment over hustle. I’m not just a singer-songwriter, I paint, read, travel, eat like it’s a love language, and surfed once (wiped out, but hey). Luna the cat, auto rides, random city magic—everything’s a song. Life’s messy, magical, and I’m loving every minute. ### My work - **Pop Singer-Songwriter & Producer**: I write, compose, sing, and produce tunes from Jammu/Mumbai that might just become your new favourite. - **Genre-Bending Style**: Catchy melodies, sick beats, and deep lyrics—sometimes a road-trip vibe, sometimes a women empowerment hip-hop anthem. - **Raw, Emotional Process**: My life—sunsets, heartbreaks, laughter—turns into songs. Some are born in just six hours, straight from the heart. - **Authentic & Real Experience**: Expect more than a song—it's a feeling, a warm hug, and a voice for your silent battles. ## More services from Akshita Mengi - [Live Music Performance](https://mytribe.in/akshitamengi7/live-music-performance) · ₹8-60K per show (estimate) ## Experts similar to Akshita Mengi on mytribe - [Studio Vocal Recording by Akanksha B.](https://mytribe.in/akanksha.sings/studio-vocal-recording) · ₹3-12K per song/session (estimate) · Mumbai Metropolitan Area - [Studio & Playback Singing by Trishita Recs](https://mytribe.in/trishitarecs/studio-playback-singing) · ₹5-25K per song/session (estimate) · Mumbai Metropolitan Area - [Solo Acoustic Singer for Events by Archita Agasti](https://mytribe.in/_tune_with_archita/solo-acoustic-singer-for-events) · ₹7-25K per event (estimate) · Guwahati - [Custom Songwriting by Ryan Crasto](https://mytribe.in/ryan.crasto/custom-songwriting) · ₹5-20K per song (estimate) · Mumbai Metropolitan Area - [Session Vocals & Songwriting by Susanna Ben](https://mytribe.in/plingooo/session-vocals-songwriting) · ₹5-15K per song (estimate) · Bengaluru - [Songwriting & Music Production by Jaden Maskie](https://mytribe.in/jadenmaskie/songwriting-music-production) · ₹12-45K per song (estimate) · Mumbai Metropolitan Area - [Session & Playback Singer by Sakshi](https://mytribe.in/sakshi_jagadeesh/session-playback-singer) · ₹4-15K per song (estimate) · Bengaluru - [Session Vocalist & Songwriter by Anusha Ishwar](https://mytribe.in/anushaishwar/session-vocalist-songwriter) · ₹7-20K per song (estimate) · Bengaluru - [Music Production & Remixing by Desiree S](https://mytribe.in/suggahunnyy/music-production-remixing) · ₹5-25K per track/mix (estimate) · Mumbai Metropolitan Area - [Custom Songwriting & Composition by Tanya Shanker](https://mytribe.in/itstanyashanker/custom-songwriting-composition) · ₹7-45K per song (estimate) · Streamphony - [Music Composition & Production by Kavish Mishra](https://mytribe.in/kavishmishraofficial/music-composition-production) · ₹40K-1.5L per song (estimate) · Mumbai Metropolitan Area ## Book To book Akshita Mengi, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Songwriting%20%26%20Music%20Production%20by%20Akshita%20Mengi.)
