## Pricing guide (estimates)

These are indicative prices based on provider's past work. Enquire now to find out final quote.

### Kids Birthday Party Magic (Select Bookings)

Coin vanishes and close-up magic for children's parties. I take very few of these, and only in easily reachable city venues with a small guest list.

Typically ₹25K per event (estimate)

#### **Please Read This First**
* I generally avoid kids' birthday parties, and I would rather say that upfront than disappoint you. Mind reading does not work on small children, so my actual genre, mentalism and paranormal illusion, has nothing to do at a kids' party. What is left is coin tricks and small close-up magic, which plenty of children's magicians do better and cheaper than me.
* I take these only selectively: a small crowd, a city venue I can reach quickly, not a remote or village location.

#### **What Happens**
* Coin vanishes and reappearances performed right in the children's hands.
* Close-up card and small object magic for a seated group.
* Some light mind reading for the adults in the room, since that lands with them.

#### **What I Need From You**
* Nothing. I bring my own props and I do not need sound or a stage for this.

#### **Terms**
* 60% advance before I reach the venue, 40% after.
* Bangalore only at this price. Outstation is not practical for a party of this size.

### 40 Minute Close-Up Show for House Parties and Private Gatherings (Standard)

My standard 40 minute roving act for intimate gatherings: mind reading, sleight of hand on your own phones and coins, and paranormal bits like Ghost Touch and bending keys.

Typically ₹35K per event (40 mins) (estimate)

#### **Format**
* **Duration:** 40 minutes, my standard slot. Longer is priced on the extra time.
* **Style:** Strolling and roving, no stage, no barriers. I sit at your table, mingle, and make your guests part of it.
* **Group size:** Works from 5 people upward. I have performed for rooms as intimate as 5 to 10 people.
* **Language:** English and Hindi mix, conversational.

#### **What Happens**
* **Mind Reading:** First crushes, thought-of names and objects, memories nobody said out loud.
* **Tech Magic:** Illusions on your guests' own smartphones, including the WiFi hack.
* **Sleight of Hand:** Coins melting through card decks, signed cards turning up in wallets and pockets.
* **Paranormal Side:** Ghost touches, keys bending in your own hand, a limb that feels stuck.

#### **What I Need From You**
* Nothing much. I bring all my props: cards, sharpies, envelopes, flash paper.
* Decent ambient light so people can see my hands. No sound system needed for a roving format.
* No prep time from your side.

#### **Terms**
* 60% advance before I reach the venue, 40% after.
* Bangalore is all inclusive. Outside Bangalore, flight and hotel are extra, either you book them or we book and you reimburse with the final payment. Outstation needs 4 to 5 days notice.

### 50 Minute Wedding, Sangeet and Haldi Show

A separate 50 minute script written for wedding functions, performed walking among your guests rather than on stage. I take these for premium bookings only.

Typically ₹60-70K per event (50 mins) (estimate)

#### **Format**
* **Duration:** 50 minutes, which is enough for a haldi, sangeet or reception slot.
* **Style:** I do not perform on stage at marriage functions. I mingle, I meet each and everyone, I read their minds and chill with them. That works better with a wedding crowd that is moving around.
* **Script:** A separate show script written specifically for weddings, not my corporate or campus material.

#### **What Happens**
* Mind reading and thought reveals for small groups as I move through them.
* Close-up sleight of hand with cards, coins and your guests' own phones.
* Metal bending and paranormal bits held in your guests' own hands.

#### **Honest Note**
* I usually avoid weddings, because the format suits my style only when the guest list is manageable and the venue is easy to reach. I take them for premium bookings where the audience is right for mind reading. If your function is a very large open crowd, my kind of show is not the best fit and I will tell you so.

#### **Terms**
* 60% advance before I reach the venue, 40% after.
* Outside Bangalore, flight and hotel extra, 4 to 5 days notice.
* English and Hindi only.

## About Close-Up Magic & Mentalism for Private Events

### Where Mind Meets Magic

I’m Akshay, and I don’t do magic from afar. For me, it's about real moments - connection, surprise, and a bit of *Mahadev ka ashirwad* (Mahadev's blessing) in everything. I don’t pretend to have superpowers, but what I do feels real, even if it's just clever illusion.

### What Happens at Your Event

I bring the show right to you - no stage, no barriers. I walk among guests, sit at tables, and make you part of every trick. It's interactive, and honestly, you fuel the whole experience. Your energy and choices make each moment unique.

- Mind reading that gets personal - guessing your first crush, predicting choices, or revealing thoughts you never said aloud.
- Sleight of hand magic using whatever’s around: cards, coins, even your phone.
- Sometimes, things get a little paranormal - ghost touches, bending keys, making limbs feel heavy. *Ruko Zara, Sabar Karo* (Wait a bit, have patience), the reveals can be wild.

### Fits Any Private Gathering

I tailor each close-up illusion to suit the vibe, whether it’s a birthday, house party, corporate dinner, or wedding. Some of my most private work has been exactly this - private sittings for the Ambani and Singhania families. A small room is honestly where mentalism works best. It’s perfect for creating a buzz, breaking the ice, or just giving people a story they’ll remember.

This is more than tricks. It's about that moment of astonishment we share. *Hum aise hi hain* (This is how I am) - a little unpredictable, always personal.

## Meet your expert

[Akshay Singh](https://mytribe.in/akshaysinghmagic)

### My story

From big corporate stages to my village gali (street), I’ve seen it all, yaar. I was just a kid when a magician sparked something in me. Now, whenever I meet kids, I hope I inspire another Akshay. Fame? Nah, I’m not about that influencer life. It’s all about commitment and self-belief. Once, even after a big health scare, I still did my show at IIT Jammu. My roots keep me grounded – Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mahadev ki energy (energy of Lord Shiva). That’s real magic.

### My work

- **Paranormal Illusion Shows**: I blend mentalism, mind reading, hypnosis, and storytelling. Think psychological magic show with a twist.
- **My Style**: I bring in ghosts, hidden energies, Indian spiritual illusion. It’s not supernatural, but feels close. No pigeons, no fire, my only prop is my brain and yours.
- **Interactive Mind Reading**: I’ll guess names, first crushes, maybe hijack the WiFi names in your venue. On stage it’s illusion, but the idea comes from my real hacker background.
- **For All Events**: Corporates like NetApp and Brillio, IIT Bombay, IIT Jammu, MNNIT Allahabad, four TEDx stages, campuses, celebrities, and private sittings for the Ambani and Singhania families. 800+ shows in 10 years, biggest crowd 5,000.
- **My Book and Recognition**: I wrote 'Magic for Corporate' for global leaders, and won the Global Awards for Excellence from the Global Book of Excellence, England. Also did India's Got Talent and I speak at TEDx.
- **How I Work**: 40 minute standard slot, English and Hindi only, in person always. I just need a collar mic, no stage, no setup, no prep from your side.
- **Where I Travel**: Bangalore is my base, but I take shows anywhere in India. Outstation, flight and hotel are extra, and I need 4-5 days notice.
