Every medal in this collection came from the same drill-heavy, discipline-first approach I use with my students. If you are looking for a coach who knows exactly how to prepare you for high-pressure tournament play, this is the standard of performance I expect from everyone I train. ### Why Tournament Experience Matters When you hire a coach, you should know if they have actually walked the talk. Many instructors can teach you how to dribble in an empty gym, but teaching you how to maintain that skill during a final-minute deficit in a state-level league is different. My playing career with the Karnataka senior team and my wins in tournaments like the FR Rebello Memorial Cup provide the foundation for my coaching philosophy. ### The Method Behind the Wins I don't teach theory. I teach what wins games. Whether it is the defensive slides I mastered to stop opposing guards or the shooting mechanics that secured our KSBBA 'C' Division title, every drill we run at the Bharath Sports Union court in Malleshwaram has a purpose. We focus on: * **Mental Toughness:** Learning to perform when you are exhausted or behind on the scoreboard. * **Fundamentals Under Pressure:** Applying basic ball-handling and form shooting during full-court scrimmages, not just during static warm-ups. * **Game IQ:** Understanding spacing, defensive reads, and when to execute specific moves like the Euro-step. ### Your Development Path Whether you are a beginner looking to build a strong foundation or a competitive player aiming to join a club, my NIS-certified training approach ensures you stop playing like a robot and start playing like an athlete. We do not skip the conditioning, we do not ignore the missed shots, and we certainly do not sugarcoat the effort required. You want to win? You have to train for it. ## About Akshay Prasad S I'm Akshay. I have been playing for Karnataka for years and I am an NIS-certified coach. I don't sugarcoat the process because I know exactly what it takes to win under pressure. Whether you're a kid just starting or a serious player, I'll train you with the same intensity I use to win championships.
