It is about the transformation I see during Arangetram preparations, where students master the full Margam—from Pushpanjali to Thillana—often while balancing school exams and ECA quota requirements. This is where my 1-on-1 private coaching bridges the gap between practice and professional-grade performance. Success in Bharatanatyam is a long, beautiful road, and seeing my students walk it with grace brings me immense joy. Whether it is Shivi securing a near-perfect score for her Hindu College admission through the ECA quota or Ishita Biswas performing her full Arangetram on live music, these moments prove that dedication to the art form opens real-world doors. ### The Path to Arangetram Preparing for an Arangetram is a rigorous journey that requires more than just footwork. It is a commitment of time, stamina, and emotional maturity. I guide students through the complete Margam, coordinating with musicians, organizing stage aesthetics, and ensuring their physical and mental endurance is ready for a solo performance. ### Competitive Excellence We do not push students into competitions for the sake of winning, but for the experience of performing under pressure. Seeing my students take home awards from festivals in Delhi, Banaras, and Pune gives them the confidence to present themselves as artists. This exposure teaches them how to handle a stage, manage a crowd, and find the joy in performance that stays with them long after the event ends. ### Academic Integration Bharatanatyam requires discipline that translates well into academics. Many of my students, like those prepping for ABGMVM exams or university admissions, find that the focus they develop in our studio helps them excel in their regular schooling. We celebrate every milestone, big or small, because every step on this journey matters. ## About Nritya Gurukul I am Akshatha Pai, and to me, dance is a spiritual journey we walk together.
