## About Custom Floral Garlands (Maalai)

We put our heart into every garland. For us, a Maalai isn't just flowers tied up, it's a piece of tradition. Every strand is made to order from fresh, natural flowers. No shortcuts, no stale blooms.

One thing to know upfront: we don't do single garlands on their own. Our flower work, the varmalas, cradle maalai, pooja and door garlands, all of it comes as part of a full event decoration we take up for you.

### What We Make

- For weddings, we create everything from traditional grand varmala sets to modern minimalist floral maala sets. Couple matching? No problem.
- Garlands for baby showers (seemantham), naming, haldi, and all those pre-wedding rituals too.
- Something for the pooja or deity at home, or welcoming guests with a pop of colour, all built into your event decor.

### How We Work

- Signature style: I love working with pink lotus buds for that different, classy look.
- Roses and malli (jasmine) are my go-tos for a classic feel, but I also add Baby's Breath or marigold (genda) when you want something a bit more fun.
- I'm picky about the details, neat kunjam (tassels), clean colour blocks, and no slapdash work.
- Want something grand or super simple? Tell me what you have in mind.

### The Extras

I can make full sets for you, matching hair flowers (gajra), wristlets, all coordinated. You'll look put-together, not patchy.

## Meet your expert

### My story

Hey, I'm Babu from Akshara Events, Sarjapura. For me, event decoration is not just kaam (work), it’s heart. I plan everything myself - from the welcome board to the main stage. I love picking fresh flowers from Bengaluru market, especially for naming ceremonies and seemantham. Making your family’s big day feel devotional and festive, that’s what keeps me going.

### My work

- **Traditional Event Decoration**: We do decor for naming ceremonies, seemantham, poojas, half saree, birthdays, engagements, and haldi.
- **Authentic Flower Arrangements**: Our style is all about traditional flower decoration and banana leaf backdrops for a devotional vibe.
- **Custom Garlands & Artistic Plates**: We design custom wedding garlands and do artistic plate decoration for every ceremony.
- **Detail-Oriented Setup**: Every detail matters to us, from the entrance sign to the main stage. We make sure it’s perfect.
