At AKS Academy, we build a supportive environment where discipline, laughter, and hard work happen on and off the court. ## Photos and videos - [Video: A glimpse into our New Year celebration. My academy is a community where players build confidence through activities like speeches and performances, making it a fun and supportive environment.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/c3ab3bc1-30c6-44de-bdad-3abad52a81b8) ## About Our Academy and Community When I run a drill, I watch the player, not just the shuttle. At AKS, we believe a confident child becomes a stronger player, which is why we spend time on speech practice and group celebrations. It is a family here, and we grow together. Badminton is a game of focus and sharp reflexes, but it also demands a mental strength that repetitive practice alone cannot build. At my academy in Vidya Bal Bhawan School, Mayur Vihar Phase 3, we teach that the mind must be as disciplined as the body. This is why we integrate life skills into our training schedule. From public speaking sessions that help kids build stage presence to group celebrations like New Year and Diwali, every activity is designed to make our students more resilient. We train on international-level wooden and synthetic courts. My coaching style relies on high-intensity multi-shuttle drills and game situations, but the community is what keeps the players coming back. Whether you are looking for badminton coaching in East Delhi or a summer camp that blends sports with personality development, you will find it here. We do not just make players. We build a team that supports each other through every match, tournament, and personal milestone. ## About A.K. Shandilya I am A.K. Shandilya, and for me, badminton is not just a job, it is my jaan (life). My academy in Mayur Vihar is built on the belief that a player who feels at home plays better, works harder, and wins more.
