## About Your Wedding BFF: Planning Advice & Tips

I’ve seen countless couples get lost in the endless Pinterest rabbit hole—what I call the 'delulu machine.' The secret to staying on track isn't finding more inspiration; it’s finding a 'solulu.' You need to pick your top three non-negotiables—whether that's the venue vibe, the food, or the photography—and let everything else be secondary. This single shift stops the overwhelm before it starts and helps you prioritize what actually makes your wedding look and feel like yours.

### The Truth About Wedding Planning

Wedding planning doesn't have to be a nightmare of vendor coordination and budget spreadsheets. After twenty years in the industry, I’ve learned that the most stressful weddings are the ones where the couple tries to control every minor detail instead of focusing on the big picture. 

#### My Planning Philosophy

*   **Prioritize the Experience:** Stop stressing about a hundred small decor items that guests won't even notice. Focus your budget on the guest experience—signature cocktails, comfortable logistics, and smooth event flows.
*   **Trust Your Team:** You hired your vendors for their expertise. If you're constantly looking over their shoulder, you're not getting their best work. Communicate your vision clearly at the start, and then let them do what they do best.
*   **The Timeline is Sacred:** A wedding is not the time to be 'fashionably late.' I always build a buffer into every itinerary, specifically for photos and reels, so the main events can start exactly when they are supposed to. 

#### Why You Need a Single Point of Contact

The biggest complaint I hear from couples before they hire me? 'Bhaiya, kaun bol rahe hain?'—they are exhausted from answering every vendor query, from the generator guy to the florist. My job is to be that bridge. You shouldn't be negotiating contracts or handling transport logistics while you are trying to get ready for your own haldi. 

#### Reality Check: Budget vs. Pinterest

Pinterest is a great place to dream, but it can be a 'delulu machine' if you don't have a solid budget architecture. We always start by breaking down your splurges versus your savings. Do you need the most expensive floral arch, or do you need a seamless guest arrival experience? We’ll figure out your non-negotiables first, then build a plan that protects your sanity and your bank account.
