## About Solo Portraits: Capturing Individuals

When you send me a photo, I don't just trace it. I look at the expression in the eyes, the way your hair falls, and even the texture of the fabric you are wearing. For solo pieces, I recommend clear, high-resolution photos for the best results, as the more detail I can see in your reference, the more life I can bring into the sketch on paper.

### Choosing Your Medium

I offer two main ways to bring your solo portrait to life, and the choice depends on the vibe you are looking for.

* **Graphite & Charcoal:** This is for the classic, timeless look. I use high-quality graphite pencils to get those subtle skin tones and charcoal for deep, dramatic blacks. It's perfect if you want an artistic, slightly moody feel that looks great in any home.
* **Colored Pencils:** If you want something vibrant, this is the way to go. I use professional-grade oil-based pencils to capture the actual colors in your clothes, your skin tone, and the background. It adds a layer of depth that really makes the subject pop off the page.

### The Process: From Photo to Paper

I work on 200 GSM acid-free paper, which is thick and won't yellow over time. Once you place an order, we discuss the reference photo. If the lighting is a bit off or the angle isn't perfect, don't worry, I can adjust the shading to make it work.

Before I seal the artwork with a matte or UV-resistant fixative, I send you a digital update. This ensures you are happy with the details. After your approval, I pack it carefully in a hard PVC pipe to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition, no matter where you are in India.

Whether it's a birthday gift, a LinkedIn profile picture, or just a piece to celebrate yourself, I handle every order with the same focus. It is just me, my sketchbook, and the goal of creating something that gives you peace.
