## About Contemporary Bandhgala & Indo-Western Jackets

The focus in these sets is on construction that maintains its structure. We utilize heavier fabrics like velvet and suiting blends to ensure the shoulders and lapels remain crisp from the start of your event to the finish. It is about creating a clean line that complements your frame without feeling heavy.

When you choose a jacket or Bandhgala, fit is the priority. My process at the Shahpur Jat studio centers on achieving a sharp, intentional silhouette that does not rely on mass-produced sizing. 

### The Construction
These pieces are built with a focus on form. Whether you choose an open-front shrug set or a structured Bandhgala, the materials are selected to support the design. Velvet, raw silk, and textured suiting fabrics are used to provide the necessary weight and drape, ensuring the jacket holds its shape throughout long cocktail hours or wedding receptions.

Modern fusion wear is not about adding extra layers; it is about precision. I work with geometric patterns, pintucks, and metallic hardware to add visual interest that is subtle rather than overwhelming. The goal is to provide a garment that feels like an extension of your own style.
