A plant that thrives in a greenhouse might struggle in a dry Gurugram apartment or pose a risk to your pets, and I would rather you know that now than watch a plant wither later. ### Know What You Are Bringing Home Most people pick plants based on a quick look at a photo, but that is how you end up with a 'drama queen' plant that dies within a month. My goal is to make sure you understand the commitment before you buy. ### The Reality of Plant Care * **High-Maintenance vs. Easy-Care:** Some plants, like Boston Ferns or Orchids, are beautiful but demand high humidity and specific care. If you are a beginner, I always recommend starting with resilient varieties like Snake Plants or Jade. * **The Toxicity Check:** If you have pets or small children, you must be careful. Plants like Dieffenbachia (Dumb Cane) and even common ones like Aloe Vera can be harmful if ingested. Always check the toxicity profile of a plant before placing it in reach. * **Allergies & Sensitivities:** It is easy to forget, but some flowers like Chrysanthemums (Guldavari) or even the pollen from certain shrubs can trigger reactions. If you are sensitive, we should stick to foliage-based plants rather than flowering varieties. ### How We Can Help At our nursery in Sector 22, we don't just sell green leaves.
